Head Baker [ACTIVELY HIRING]
The Head Baker is responsible for leading and participating with Bakery staff to define offerings and produce bakery products for retail sales and catering orders; daily production fulfillment, mixing formulations, dough processing, production line shaping and dividing, retarding, proofing, and equipment knowledge; and baker training and productivity, ensuring the quality and consistency of production of all output, and the proper handling and storage of all food items. The Baker is responsible for producing bakery products including breads, pastries, and breakfast/lunch products for retail sales and catering orders, including but not limited to: daily production fulfillment, mixing formulations, dough processing, production line shaping and dividing, retarding, proofing, and knowledge of operating equipment. Retail Associate [ACTIVELY HIRING]
The Retail Associate is the face of the business. They welcome customers and process their orders and payment. They promptly resolve customer complaints to ensure maximum client satisfaction. They stay up-to-date with available menu items and assist as necessary with sales and catering orders, ensuring they are properly packed and labeled. They also stock rotating inventory. The Pastry Chef is expected to create high-quality, consistent pastries and baked goods to Bloom’s specifications. It is also the Pastry Chef’s responsibility to train staff on the creation of pastries and baked goods, and to maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout.
